The Faculty Senate is the representative body of the faculty at Northwest Missouri State University.
Purposes of the Senate
- The Faculty Senate develops, formulates, and recommends policies to the Board of Regents and advises appropriate authorities in other areas assigned to the faculty by the Board of Regents.
- The Faculty Senate is authorized to provide a forum for discussion of matters that are of concern to the faculty and to make recommendations concerning their findings to the appropriate authorities including the chief academic officer, president of the university, and/or Board of Regents.
